Preservation of a Collection of Historic Textiles

To support the stabilization, cleaning, and display of 52
traditional Malagasy textiles that were recently discovered.
The collection represents a variety of materials, uses, designs
and dyeing techniques from the 19th century, derived from
multiple ethnic groups in Madagascar. The project will also
include training, creation of educational kits, and establishing
a permanent exhibition space for a rotating display of objects.
