How fascinating, and how completely multi-cultural – early American (British), French, Dutch, Portuguese and Arabic/Semitic. Perhaps our current president could take a lesson from this cloth fragment, and stand with his fellow world leaders the next time there is a terrorist attack which treatens free speech.

Gee, can I assume that your own commitment to opposing terrorism means that *you* went to Paris to march with your fellow world citizens?

julia,
it was so wonderful reconnecting with you this Fall. The work you did on my Mongolian piece makes it one of the most precious pieces of textile I own. I hope you come see it on my wall in the living room.
I wish you and yours all the best for a great 2015. Please be in touch.
Best, Barbara Reese
