We were the Scottish element of Julia’s circle of friends and shared the same magical compound. The same textile company fortunately rescued our old house at the entrance to Borneo Compound and turned it into a splendid shop. We feature in some of the photographs. Thanks Julia for reminding us of the wonderful life we lived there from 1966 till 1970, when our youngest daughter, Laura, was born.
